David Spencer Evans

An educator, former Royal Air Force officer, and research director. Previously a commissioned officer and technical intelligence specialist, with a Defence Intelligence Staff role at the Ministry of Defence. He spent 20 years teaching science and technology, latterly as a college lecturer.
David also directed a European Commission–funded international consortium developing an innovative robotic system based on his own invention. A recognised Spitfire expert and keen flier, David is a past Chairman of the Spitfire Society and the Spitfire Heritage Trust. He has worked jointly with CEO Jeremy on the design and delivery of the Aerolite Spitfire.
